Sage built her first pinewood derby car with Arien this year. They did an amazing job together, especially when you consider that Arien was sick as a dog (we're expecting) and couldn't pick a coping saw off of a pegboard. I was particularly impressed when I learned that they were among an elite few who resisted the urge to use a potato peeler to whittle down the block of wood.
